The enormous guest rooms start at 600 square feet and are equally show-stopping, with nods to Deco in the marble and seafoam interiors and amenities Ms. Taylor would have loved, including a customizable Four Seasons Bed and movie star service (if you need a dress pressed and back in your arms within an hour, your wish is their command).

The spa is fitted with a tea room, marble hammam and treatments like The Floridian Body Scrub—made with organic sugar cane, orange oil and honey—that has you feeling like Carmen Miranda in the best possible way.

Thomas Keller doesn’t do “meh,” so when you saw his first ever Florida outpost was here at the nostalgic, 50’s-themed Surf Club Restaurant, your heart skipped a beat. Settled into a powder pink armchair makes your order, oysters rockefeller, Maine lobster thermidor and a side of candied bacon taste all the more cinematic. Is that a Michelin star you see, twinkling above the ocean? Or is that the 40-year-old Balvenie single malt whiskey talking?
