An ultra-pampering resort with 80 airy guest rooms, a locavore restaurant, a cabana-lined outdoor pool, and an organic spa that’s anything but granola.
Lacking romance. The resort is practically tailor-made for couples, with its four post beds, rain showers, stone fireplaces, and gratis bottle of wine upon check-in.
Sweet Napa dreams are made of this: a resort where every single detail has been conjured for your personal delight. Heated cypress-flanked pool? Yes. Loaner bikes for whirling around town? You bet. Guest rooms are nothing less than exquisite, thanks to canopied beds, cozy sitting areas, and soaring fieldstone fireplaces ideal for wine hour. Even the “starter” rooms, Standard Kings, are enormous at 525 square feet, and each one comes with amenities like down duvets, Italian linens, fluffy robes and slippers, and mini bars fully stocked with comped granola squares, organic fruit and nut mixes, and caramel macchiato almonds. The Yountville Suite might be our personal favorite, though, thanks to its honeymoon-ready two person spa tub, private patios (there are TWO), steam shower and vaulted ceilings.
They stock the lobby with LaVazza coffee and breakfast bites, so you’ll never go hangry waiting for your breakfast reservations.
There are only two things on your to-do list today: sipping cabernets and hitting the spa. It’s Vacay o’clock, so you’re treating yourself to an antioxidant-stocked chardonnay and sugar body scrub. Only in Napa.
