It’s a good idea to upgrade to an Executive Balcony King Room; each has corner views from floor to ceiling windows and a 500-600-square-foot floor plan (plus, yes, a balcony). We also love the nearly 1,400-square-foot Orchid Suite, which is fittingly brimming with orchids—and a jaw-dropping panorama of the cityscape from its plush white-on-white living room.

You love a deal, and kids under six eat free in the restaurant’s buffet—which is good, because your little one is as ravenous as sasquatch.

The only thing you enjoy more than a post-workday swim? A post workday swim on the roof. Up here, the city before you, you feel a little like the orca you saw playing in the harbor waters this morning. Blissful.
