A renowned Parisian Grande Dame revamped by the Four Seasons.
As exclusive of a location as, say, Le Bristol on Rue Faubourg Saint-Honoré.
In the obvious ranks of Paris’s collection of grande dame hotels is the famed George V. This hotel epitomizes classic French luxury with marble floors, crystal chandeliers and floral bouquets that are like nothing you’ve ever seen (close to 10,000 flowers need to be imported each week!). It really feels more like an art piece than a hotel. As expected, the 245 rooms are equally as luxurious. Beginning at 538 square feet, these are some of the most spacious rooms offered in the city of lights. In addition, gorgeous ruched drapes open up to sweeping views and, in most cases, marble courtyards in each room. Also housed in the hotel is the two-Michelin star Le Cinq restaurant - a must-try spot regardless of whether you stay at George V. That is, however, not to take away from a mandatory afternoon tea in the hotel’s inner courtyard.
You want classic French style with the consistency of the Four Seasons. Also, you prefer a location near the Champs-Elysées, as opposed to the more exclusive shopping area of Le Bristol.
As you take a well-deserved dip in the spa pool, the intricate Versailles wall mural transports you to an older time.
Le Cinq - Classic French culinary techniques, two Michelin starred restaurant
La Galerie - Inntimate conversation and light fare lounge which serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. In summer, serves lunch, cocktails and dinner in the courtyard.
Le Bar - Snacks and cocktails available at this laid back setting for any night of the week.
